I got this for my 13 year old daughter, but due to snowy weather, this was the first time we could take it out on a dry surface and really give it a whirl.At first she was very apprehensive, never having ridden a hoverboard. She first tried crouching down and moving. It was quite amusing and hard to control. But all of a sudden, she figured it out and then she was racing around the basketball court, practicing how to go fast and slow, make turns, and to go backwards. I do recommend reading the manual to understand how to get on, control your speed, etc. and what to do when getting off, especially. It helped her considerably. Considering she went from totally insecure and never having ridden a hoverboard to very confident on it within 15 minutes, I would say it is very easy for beginners to learn if they have good balance. It is very intuitive.

I’ve never made a bad review ever. if i have a bad product that didnt work, i understand and i wont write a bad review.However this product sucks and im so disappointed. After looking at all of the amazing reviews, i got this for my boyfriend for valentine’s day. It arrived the day before. we read the instructions and sat it on the charger for the amount of time it told us too. now let me be clear, my boyfriend has had hoverboards before. he knows how to ride on them and he knows how they should feel. right off the bat, he told me it didn’t feel right. but maybe he should get used to it first right? so he would charge if for the longest time and it never reached 100%. we would plug it in overnight/all day since both of us work. we’d get home to a 60% charged hoverboard that goes down 10% every 3 minutes and i’m not even exaggerating. my boyfriend couldn’t even make it down the street without it dying. now the actual performance of the hoverboard was expected to be amazing. it’s supposed to be for pros and experts! so why is it jerking? he couldn’t even go in a straight line without it jerking and throwing him off. literally throwing him off. the board has two modes, beginner and expert. it literally didn’t change a thing. it’s the same. I wanted to get him a good valentines gift because he gets me the best ones every year. i’m so confused from all the good reviews i just wasn’t expecting it to not work. very disappointing.

update. it’s been 11 days since i returned it and still have not received my full refund. haven’t received anything not even a confirmation.

It possesses acceptable quality and can accommodate heavyweight individuals. Additionally, it seamlessly connects to the phone and allows customization of the boards, providing you with the option to route whatever you desire. The only potential issue arises if they were to add an external wheel for backup. Moreover, it would be fantastic if they included an option for riding it on smaller surfaces. While it works perfectly on such surfaces, maneuvering it can be challenging. Overall, it maintains great quality. Furthermore, it would be excellent if they added LED lights not only to the front and back but also to the lateral sides.

This is my first hoverboard, so I am not exactly the best on it yet, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. The first thing i noticed is that once you get it out of the box and make sure it is fully charged, that a calibration is absolutely necessary, My model was very sensitive to the slightest touch, and still is a little touchy, running the calibration made a huge difference, and is easy to accomplish.

It reaches its full charge after a few hours and then you can play. I only mess with this for about 30 - 40 minutes at a time, and its battery last more than long enough for me. I put it back on the charger after every use though. You need to download an app to adjust the settings further from between beginner, intermediate and expert. And while it is really awesome that you can listen to music while you're cruising, its a little obnoxious to be honest and I really can't stand people who force others to listen to their music lol. The Speakers also have a high pitch whine to them while you're using them. So it is a feature i really don't use. I do however really like the custom LED display, i currently have "!!!Watch out!!!" on my display.

Outside of the Speakers the only thing really I don't like about this model is the inability to turn the RGB lights off. Like you already have an application that alters settings on the device, but you don't add the ability to adjust the RGB's?? Weird, not deal breaking or anything, just feels like a big miss.

All-in-all, I think this is a very good deal for what you get, and while I don't like the speaker and think its a waste, it could be the cherry on the icing for you and your taste. I feel good in recommending this hoverboard

Firstly I want to say this balance board is a high quality and well made item. It's solid all round and looks like it will last a long time. Very easy and intuitive to charge, turn on, customize the LED logo etc. All round it seems like a great balance board.

However, for the life of me, I cannot ride this thing. I am 6' 3" and I think my center of gravity is not low enough to comfortable ride on a balance board - I am constantly falling forwards or backwards. I think this is simething which my kids or wife (who is 5' 4") will have much better luck. As for me - I will stick to my bicycle.
